Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was associated with the education world before becoming the Vice President. He taught students for a long time in many prestigious colleges and universities. 7. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan taught philosophy at Presidency College, Madras. From 1921 to 1936, he held the position of King George V Professor of Philosophy at the University of Calcutta. From 1936 to 1939, he held the prestigious position of Spalding Professor of Eastern Religions and Philosophy at Oxford University.
8. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was also the Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University from 1939 to 1948.
