Directed by Manmohan Desai, this masala film did wonders on the big screen and grossed many times over the budget. The film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Neetu Singh, Parveen Babi and Shabana Azmi in lead roles. The music of the film was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the lyrics were by Anand Bakshi.
Four beautiful voices together
The hit song of the movie we are talking about is ‘Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karin…’. The song was picturized on the film’s lead actors and notably sung by veterans Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Mukesh and Lata Mangeshkar. This was the first and last time the four sang together. Kishore Da voiced for Amitabh, Mukesh for Vinod Khanna, Rafi Sahib for Rishi Kapoor. While Shabana, Neetu and Parveen were voiced by Lata Mangeshkar.
