Opening some pages of his life in an interview, Rajkumar Rao said that his mind came to acting only when he was studying in the 11th standard. He decided that one day he wants to become an actor. He worked hard for this and today he is one of the biggest actors in the industry.
The prince fell in love at school
In the same interview, he narrated an incident related to the school and said, ‘At that time I was studying in Blue Bells School, Gurgaon. I fell in love with a girl in 11th standard. The girl looked like Anjali from Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. She plays basketball like Anjali, dresses and lives like her. I was already a fan of Shah Rukh Khan. Then I felt I had got my due. Somehow started dating her, but she already had a boyfriend named Aman.
When Rajkumar Rao was beaten up in an affair with a girl
Continuing the story, Rajkumar Rao said, ‘When the girl’s boyfriend came to know that he was dating me, he came to beat me up with a group of boys. Not one or two but 25 Jat boys from the college came to kill. At that time I became a very simple boy. I decided that I don’t want to fight because I want to be an actor. When 25 boys were beating me because of that girl, they were saying among themselves to take out the gun and shoot. I sat silently. I had two Punjabi friends with me, they were shouting, don’t kill him, kill us if you want. When I was being hit, I used to say the only thing, don’t hit me on the face, I want to be an actor. Hearing my words, all the people present there started laughing loudly. This story is absolutely true.
Rajkumar entered Bollywood in 2010
After this, Rajkumar Rao worked hard to fulfill his dream. In 2010, she entered Bollywood with ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ and never looked back. He did terrific films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ Part 2, ‘Shahid’, ‘Citylights’, ‘Aligarh’, ‘Trapped’, ‘Newton’, ‘Omerta’ and ‘Stree’.
