3.5 lakh applications received for Bihar STET 2023, 46 subjects will be conducted simultaneously for the first time

Bihar STET 2023: Three and a half lakh candidates have applied for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2023. This will be the first time that Bihar Board will conduct STET of 46 subjects simultaneously. It has 17 topics in paper-1 and 29 topics in paper-2. Talking about the year 2020, almost two lakh candidates appeared for STET 2020. Examination was conducted for 10 subjects. This time Bihar Board has included all the subjects of Secondary and Higher Secondary. As per Bihar Board STET will be conducted online. The exam will be held in two shifts in a week. The examination center will be set up only in those cities where online examination facility is available. All the candidates will get the information about the exam center from their admit card. The examination center will be conducted at the district headquarters itself. The exam will have questions of 150 marks. All will be purposeful types.

More applications in 9th-10th
The highest number of applications for STET came for class 9 and 10. More than two lakh applications Ninth and Tenth Means you have appeared for Paper-1. According to the Bihar board, all the guidelines related to the exam will be known to the candidates from the admit card. Last entry will be allowed at the examination center one hour before the commencement of examination. Each center will be monitored through CCTV and videography. The board has also released the subject wise syllabus for the convenience of the candidates.

Choose a topic
Candidates appearing for Paper-A Special School Teacher must choose any one subject for general subject group. It may include Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts and Dance subjects. Any one subject will be selected from all these subjects, candidates who have not done it are being given an opportunity to revise from August 29 to 31.
