After 10, the first woman became a millionaire
KBC started in the year 2000 and after 10 years i.e. in the fourth season of KCB in 2010, a female contestant became a millionaire for the first time on the show. Her name was Rahat Tasnim. Rahat won a prize of one crore rupees in this show. Rahat Tasneem was a confident woman and was able to impress even Amitabh Bachchan. Rahat hails from Giridih in Jharkhand and 37-year-old Rahat used all four lifelines i.e. ‘Phone a Friend’, ‘Double Dip’, ‘Expert Advice’ and ‘Audience Poll’ to reach one crore.
Rahat said, “From Rs 3.20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh, I knew my answers and didn’t need a lifeline. When Big B asked me where I got my confidence from, I replied that it was confidence.” Faith.” Rahat once said this in an interview.
When Rahat thought of sending a message to participate in KBC, his mobile phone had a balance of only Rs 3. “I decided to take a chance and send an SMS,” said Rahat. Rahat was selected and called for an audition in Mumbai. “We were told that a bank account and a PAN card are required for all contestants. When I went back home, the first thing I did was open a bank account and apply for a PAN card,” she recalled. Rahat now runs a textile showroom in a mall in Giridih.
