Friend said if you go on one condition… on this Abbas said I don’t know Tamil so what will I do. But due to his friend’s insistence, he lost and Abbas also went to audition. When the director said, ‘You will be the hero of my film’
After watching the audition, the director told Abbas, you will be the hero of my film. When Abbas said I don’t know Tamil, the director said no one would do the dubbing. It was from here that Abbas’ luck came in the film ‘Kathal Desham’ with Tabu. Abbas got so much love from this film that he became an overnight star. He started working back to back. To support my family, I worked as a bike mechanic and taxi driver in New Zealand and also as a toilet cleaner overseas.
