Increase in price of onion: Onion prices have increased from Rs 1 to Rs 19 per kg in the last three weeks in 275 cities of the country. Onion was sold at Rs 49 per kg in Hojai on Friday. Earlier it was Rs 30. Similarly, onion has become expensive by Rs 15 per kg in Barnala, Shahdol, Balaghat. Gautam Budh Nagar, Jhargram and Langtalai have increased by Rs 14, while onion prices have increased in hundreds of cities from Balasore, Rampur, Agartala to Gorakhpur, Jaipur. , Puri, Port Blair onion prices have increased from Rs 5 to Rs 13.
