New Delhi. The first match of the T20 series between the Indian team arriving in Ireland and the host team was played on 18 August at The Village. In this exciting match, the Indian team managed to win by two runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method. There was a moment during the match when all the Indian fans stopped breathing for a moment.

Rituraj Gaikwad came into the field along with Yashaswi Jaiswal to chase the target of 140 runs given by the Irish team. Both the batsmen were moving with a steady step, but there was a big accident on the third ball of the second over.

Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah was declared ‘Player of the Match’ for his brilliant bowling during the match. The 29-year-old fast bowler bowled a total of four overs in the first T20 match for the Blue team. Meanwhile, took two wickets for 24 runs with an economy of 6.00.
