Common people can soon get rewards for uploading GST invoices on mobile apps. The government is going to launch the much awaited ‘Mera Bill Mera Adhikar’ scheme soon. Two officials familiar with the matter told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that under the invoice promotion scheme, monthly/quarterly payments ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 1 crore will be given to those who ‘upload’ the bills (invoices) received from retailers. or wholesaler on application. Cash prizes may be awarded.
The ‘My Bill Mera Adhikar’ app will be available on both iOS and Android platforms. The ‘invoice’ uploaded on the app should contain the seller’s GSTIN, invoice number, amount paid and tax amount.

An official said that a person can ‘upload’ a maximum of 25 bills in a month, with a minimum value of Rs 200. He informed that the plan is being finalized and it may be announced soon.
