UPPSC Staff Nurse Bharti: Detailed notification of Staff Nurse (Male/Female) Exam-2023 was released by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on Monday. Online applications have started with this. 2240 posts of Staff Nurse are to be recruited. Under the Department of Medical Education and Training, 171 posts of Staff Nurse (Male) and 2069 posts of Staff Nurse (Female) will be recruited. The last date for submission of application and fee is fixed on 21st September.
Candidates have to appear in two phase examination. The preliminary examination will have negative marking and candidates with 15 times the number of vacancies will be declared successful for the main examination. Preliminary examination will be of 85 marks. There will be a total of 170 objective type questions and two hours time will be given to solve them. 30 questions will be asked from General Knowledge, 20 from General Hindi and 120 from main subject Nursing. Mains exam will have one question paper of 85 marks. The question paper will be divided into two sections. Section-A will have a total of five short answer type questions. All questions will be compulsory. Each question will carry five marks and the maximum word limit will be 125. Whereas, Section-B will have a total of six long answer type questions. A candidate has to attempt any four of these questions. Each question will carry 15 marks and the maximum word limit will be 300.
