Talking to Indian Express on the success of Gadar 2, Karan said, ‘Gadar 2 has shocked everyone as it was a blockbuster in the year 2001 and now in 2023 the film has broken records. I am very happy with the single screen.
At the same time, Karan was again asked that if he gets a call from Sunny Deol, who will he message? Karan jokes that I will message the entire industry and say this is how it happens.

Karan further said that Bollywood fans will get to see more such films in the future. He says that if you see, the quality of any film that is going to be a hit is very strong.
