Rinku was included in the Indian team for the first time for the ongoing T20 International series against Ireland. He has played both matches so far and has scored 38 runs at a strike rate of 180.90. Talking about his batting style, Rinku said that he always intends to bat till the end and tries to hit big shots in the last overs of the match.

Rinku said, “I was very excited about batting in the first match (first T20 International) but no problem (that rain interrupted the match). we won I always plan to bat till the end, like I do in IPL. I play my shots in the last two-three overs. My plan is to be patient and that’s what I’m doing.

Rinku was impressed with the way India’s young team performed against Ireland and took a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. He said, “We are playing good cricket. We have won the series and want to end the series with a win.

The final T20 International between India and Ireland will be played on Wednesday after which the team will leave for Sri Lanka where the Asia Cup will be played from August 30.
