Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan came up with a new episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ on Wednesday. Big B started the game on 23 August 2023 with Yogesh Kalra, a roll over contestant from the previous episode. Amitabh Bachchan asked Yogesh a question for 50 lakh rupees – Dr. S. Jayashankar handed over the relics of 16th century Christian saint Rani Ketavan in Goa to which country? The options were – Armenia, Portugal, Georgia and Serbia.
Contestants lost even after winning 50 thousand
Yogesh chose option B (Portugal) but it was the wrong answer. The correct answer was Georgia. Yogesh was on his way to winning 50 lakhs, but a mistake brought him back to 3 lakhs 20 thousand. After Yogesh left Amitabh Bachchan Arpana Yadav, who works in Google, was called to the hotseat by playing the fastest finger first. Arpana answered the first few questions with ease. The answer of 10 thousand rupees was related to Bollywood.
Amitabh asked a question about Shah Rukh
Amitabh Bachchan asked, “Which of these Shah Rukh Khan starrer films is not directed by Karan Johar?” Arpana chose Jab Tak Hai Jaan to show how much she loves King Khan. Aparna asks Big B if he Shah Rukh Khan Doesn’t he also fall in love with Shahrukh’s dimple while working with Shahrukh? Then Amitabh Bachchan answered this question in a very funny tone.
People laughed a lot at Amitabh’s answer
Amitabh Bachchan said, “Yes, we have slept with him.” Amitabh’s answer made people laugh. “He is a very capable artist,” he added. Arpana’s mother told Amitabh Bachchan that she is such a big fan of him, hearing this Amitabh also laughed. Arpana used her first lifeline on the Rs 50,000 question. The question was – who among these jumped on the funeral pyre of Pandu after his death? The options were Madri, Kunti, Gandhari and Draupadi.
Arpana returned with only 10 thousand
Taking the lifeline of audience polls, Aparna replied – Madri. This was also the correct answer. On the very second question, he used the Call a Friend Lifeline and the answer he gave with the help of his friend turned out to be wrong. Thus Aparna returned home with only 10,000 rupees. After this Amitabh again played the fastest finger first and put Abhishek Garg on the hot seat. Abhishek reached the 1.6 lakh question and then the game was stopped with the sound of the hooter.
