Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush is being trolled again this time due to its huge budget. Some posts are going viral on social media regarding the budget of Adipurush, according to which, the film directed by Om Raut has been made on a budget of Rs 600 crore. While the budget of Chandrayaan-3 is said to be Rs 615 crore. As soon as Chandrayaan-3 entered the lunar surface on Wednesday, netizens started criticizing the makers of Adipurush for spending so much money on just one film, which did not receive much response from the audience.

However, the authenticity of this Reddit post is yet to be verified, but it has definitely surprised the netizens. One user wrote, “Rs 600 crore for Adipurush, this money should be given to ISRO scientists.” Another wrote, “This is why celebrities shouldn’t be given so much importance. Protect these scientists, not these ‘superstars’.” A third user commented, “This is so sad. Especially since Adipurush was not a good product.

Let us tell you that after the release of Adipurusha, he had to face huge opposition from the people. From the look of all the characters in the film to the dialogues of the film, there was a lot of controversy. After which the makers had to apologize to the viewers. Adipurush, released in June this year, was accused of plagiarizing the religious epic Ramayana and its characters. Directed by Om Raut, the film is an on-screen adaptation of Ramayana, starring Prabhas as Ram, Kriti Sanon as mother Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana.

The film was strongly opposed by the audience outside the theaters in different parts of the country. A boycott of the film was demanded with slogans like “Stop insulting Hinduism” and “Stop insulting Maa Sita”. Not only this, the All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) also wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting him to “order the screening” of the film. After which the makers of the film publicly explained themselves and apologized.
