Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will also undergo a 13-day fitness program designed during the camp.

According to a report in Indian Express, all the top players selected for the Asia Cup have been included in the fitness programme. Along with fitness, his blood test will also be done. Meanwhile, if the players are not found as per the fixed standard, their difficulties may increase. BCCI can be strict about this. Because the World Cup is around the corner and the BCCI is in no mood to compromise on the fitness scale.

According to the report, the players who toured West Indies and subsequently were not part of Team India during the Ireland series, have been asked to be part of the 13-day programme. These players include Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Siraj.
