Shadab’s 48 on Gurbaz’s 151 was a huge boost as Pakistan snatched the win.

An unbeaten 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan leads the series to his name. Afghanistan scored 300 runs for 5 wickets on the basis of Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s explosive innings of 151 runs. Pakistan won by 1 wicket in a thrilling match played till the last over.

Once again Pakistan team has won the match till the last over against Afghanistan. In the previous Asia Cup, Naseem Shah hit a six in the last over of the T20 match to give the team victory, here too he came in at the end and got the team out of trouble. A fighting innings by Shadab Khan and Imam-ul-Haq led Pakistan to a miraculous victory.

Amazing work by Imam and Shadab

Chasing a mammoth score of 301 runs, the Pakistan team was in trouble. In such a situation, Imam-ul-Haq stood at one end and played an important role in bringing the team closer to the target by playing an innings of 91 runs off 105 balls. Captain Babar Azam got out after scoring 53 runs and from here the match went into Afghanistan’s grip. In the end, Shadab Khan played a brilliant innings of 48 runs off 35 balls and turned the match back towards Pakistan.

Gurbaj’s innings was wasted

Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored a brilliant 151 against Pakistan but it went in vain before Shadab’s 48. He played this brilliant innings with the help of 14 fours and 3 sixes in 151 balls. He became the first Afghan batsman to score an ODI century against Pakistan. Even after this great performance, his team could not win.
