Death of Dev Kohli: A bad news has come out from Synejagat. Renowned poet and lyricist Dev Kohli has passed away and breathed his last at the age of 81. During his career, he worked in films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Baazigar, Shootout at Lokhandwala, Taxi No. 911, Judwaa 2, Musafir, Jaisi. Wrote lyrics for over 100 hit songs.
It is being said that he breathed his last at his residence. According to reports, Dev Kohli was recently admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri for two-three months due to age-related ailments. Dev Kohli’s last rites will be performed today at the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai.
Let it be known that Dev Kohli worked with many famous musicians including Ram Laxman, Anu Malik, Anand-Milind and Anand Raj Anand. Dev Kohli penned superhit songs like ‘Kabutar Ja Ja’, ‘Aaja Shaam Hone Ayi’, ‘Aate Jhande Hanste Gaate’, ‘Keh Tose Sajna’ for Salman Khan’s blockbuster film ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’.
