Mumbai. The trailer of web series ‘The Freelancer’ has been released recently. The series is based on ‘A Ticket to Syria’. The series stars Mohit Ran in the lead role, while Anupam Kher plays a supporting role. At the same time, Navneet Malik has become the main villain in the series. In an exclusive conversation with Navneet News18, he spoke about his personal and professional life along with his character in the series. He said that the story of the series revolves around the rescue of a girl caught in ISIS custody in Syria. It is directed by Neeraj Pandey. Neeraj has created ‘special ups’.
Navneet Malik said that he is a resident of Rohtak, Haryana. He studied here. He did his B.Sc in Civil Engineering. Tech and during this time she tried her hand at modeling and auditioned. He participated in a model look contest in the year 2014 and became its winner. After this he moved to Mumbai and started a career in modeling. Meanwhile, he got an offer to work in ‘Love Hostel’.
‘Love Hostel’ was Navneet’s debut film. After this she was seen in the film ‘Heropanti 2’ opposite Tara Sutaria. He had a negative role in this film. Now playing the lead villain Mohsin in ‘Freelancer’. The series will stream on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 1.
Navneet Malik said that ‘The Freelancer’ is a fictional story. It has nothing to do with ‘The Kerala Story’. He also stated that even though the series is produced by Neeraj Pandey, it has nothing to do with ‘Special Ups’. He expressed his happiness on working with Neeraj Pandey, Anupam Kher and Mohit Raina. Navneet Malik said that it was fun working with Neeraj Pandey sir.
