Sunny Deol’s film Ghadar 2 was a blockbuster. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film grossed Rs. 400 crores and is the third highest grossing Hindi film in India after Pathan and Baahubali 2 (Hindi). The film is a direct sequel to the blockbuster ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ released 22 years ago in 2001. The film received a lot of love but also received criticism. Some viewers called it ‘anti-Pakistan’. In his latest interview with BBC Asian Network, when Sunny Deol was asked about this, the actor said, “People involved in politics spread these things. These are not real people. There is humanity everywhere, whether it is here or there. With everyone. You will see throughout the film that I never let anyone down because I don’t believe in crushing people or in any idea and Tara Singh is not that kind of person.”
