MGCUB will get the Badminton Champion, Ghosha and Maitriy will have a close fight

Nakul Kumar/East Champaran. A university level badminton competition was organized on the third day of National Sports Day week at Mahatma Gandhi Central University. In which 32 teams of the university participated. In which there were 24 teams of boys and 8 teams of girls. The girls’ team is named Rani Chennamma, Ghosha, Maitri and Lokamudra. The final match of the competition between Ghosha and Maitri will be played on Saturday. The competition was organized at the Red Cross Society Motihari Club.

On this occasion, the sports officer of the university, Dr. Raman, said that a total of 32 teams of the university participated in the doubles category of the badminton competition, on the other hand, a total of 12 teams of students reached. He said that all the winners will be awarded during the closing ceremony of National Sports Day on August 29.

Earlier the competition was inaugurated by Director of Mahatma Buddha Complex Prof. Ashish Srivastava, Student Welfare Prof. A. Pal, University Sports Officer Dr. Saket Raman, Jury Members Dr. Avnish Kumar and Dr. Uttam Kumar jointly. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Srivastava said that sports activities are organized continuously in the university for the all-round development of the students. The university administration is ready to provide all the basic facilities to the players. The stage was managed by Ananya Srivastava. Rakesh Roshan, Avni Kumar, Prachi Srivastava and Abhishek Kumar coordinated the badminton competition. Event coordinator Naveen Tiwari etc. were present on this occasion.
