New Delhi:
Ahead of the three-day G-20 summit next month, the BJP and the ruling Aam Aadmi Party have clashed over the beautification of Delhi. BJP claims that beautification of Delhi has been done with central government funds. AAP has given a strong response to this. At the same time, the BJP has challenged the Aam Aadmi Party to name a single project funded by their government. On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party in its official statement has accused the BJP of playing dirty politics.

The BJP has cornered the Aam Aadmi Party on the issue, saying that Delhi’s transformation for the G-20 is fully funded by the central government and it is a shame to see its ministers trying to steal the credit. It was said from the party that the central government has also started the concept of wall painting first in Pragati Maidan tunnel and later in NDMC area.
Delhi BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva also targeted Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on this issue. He said it is unfortunate that CM Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers are shamelessly trying to steal the credit for Delhi’s transformation. I challenge Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to name a single project of beautification or development of Delhi by his government in preparation for G-20.
AAP attacks BJP
The official statement of Aam Aadmi Party has come out on BJP’s claim. In this the party said, “It is surprising to see that the BJP has claimed the development works done by the Aam Aadmi Party government as its own. The PWD of the Delhi government has spent all the money. PWD roads in Delhi.” On the other hand, MCD has spent the entire money on the works related to MCD roads. Only central money has been spent on road related works of NDMC and NHAI. This level of politics will not benefit the country. India is supposed to host the G-20 summit, but the BJP is playing dirty politics.”
