All the players thoroughly enjoyed the break on Sunday. However, in the meantime the players participated in team meeting and DEXA test. All eyes were on KL Rahul who is on the brink of achieving 100 per cent fitness.

Shreyas Iyer, on the other hand, has also recovered from injury and is eager to show his bat in the Asia Cup. However, Rahul still has time to regain full fitness before the World Cup. The World Cup is still 3 months away. While announcing the Asia Cup squad, BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar said that KL Rahul will not be able to play in the match against Pakistan due to swallowing.
