India’s Golden Ball Neeraj Chopra is constantly winning the hearts of his fans with his brilliant play on the field and his good nature off the field. In the final match of the ongoing World Championship in Budapest, Hungary, Neeraj threw the javelin at a distance of 88.17 meters and captured the gold medal. Neeraj became the first Indian athlete to win a gold medal at the World Championships. After winning this title, this star player won the hearts of crores of Indian fans by not giving an autograph on the tricolor. In fact, after the competition, one of his female fans came to autograph the Indian flag, but Neeraj refused to autograph the tricolor.
A journalist aware of the matter tweeted, ‘A very beautiful Hungarian lady (as she speaks very good Hindi) wanted Neeraj Chopra’s autograph. Neeraj said of course but then realized he meant on the Indian flag. Neeraj told him ‘can’t sign there’. Finally, Neeraj autographed his shirt sleeve. He was very happy though.

Apart from this, Neeraj also made many headlines by posing for a photo with Pakistani athlete Ashraf Nadeem. In fact, Neeraj Chopra is seen clicking photos with Czech Republic athlete Yakub Walesa wearing the tricolor. Both players had the flags of their respective countries. Neeraj then caught sight of Arshad and called the Pakistani player to click a photo.
Let us tell you that Arshad Nadeem was also a part of this final event, he cleared a distance of 87.82 meters and captured the silver medal. Jakub Walles of Czech Republic won the bronze medal with a best throw of 86.67 meters.
