RIL 46th AGM: Reliance Industries Limited is working on a plan to set up a battery gigafactory by the year 2026. Mukesh Ambani said at the annual general meeting, “Our priority is to set up our Battery Giga Factory by 2026. It will manufacture battery chemicals, cells and packs. This will move towards energy storage solutions and will also include battery recycling facilities.” ”

Major Advances in Bio Energy: Reliance, which entered bio-energy just a year ago, has become the country’s largest producer of fuel from stubble. The company has set up its first compressed biogas (CBG) plant at Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh. For this Reliance has indigenously developed Compressed Biogas (CBG) technology. This technology was developed at Jamnagar Refinery of Reliance, the world’s largest refinery.

What is the next plan: Giving details of compressed biogas (CBG) plants Mukesh Ambani Said, “We have set up a plant in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh in a record 10 months, we will quickly set up 25 more plants across India. We aim to set up more than 100 plants in the next 5 years. 55 lakh tonnes of agricultural residues and organic waste will be used in these plants. This will reduce carbon emissions by around 20 lakh tonnes and produce 25 lakh tonnes of organic fertilizer annually. This initiative of Reliance is expected to significantly reduce air pollution.

Reliance is also ready to try its hand in the field of wind energy. By mass-producing the carbon fiber used to make windmill blades, the company wants to keep the cost of these blades low. For this, Reliance is joining hands with specialist companies around the world. Reliance aims to generate at least 100 GW of renewable energy by 2030.
