Social media is full of amazing content. Videos shared on X (Twitter), Facebook and other platforms often contain interesting information. A video of a unique breed of dog going viral on X recently is proof of that. It has been referred to as the Hungarian Puli, which has a long, wiry hair coat that looks like dreadlocks. The short clip shows the dog in various settings – coming down a hill in slow motion, jumping over a fence and running around happily.

This dangling hair caught the attention of social media users and they started comparing it to everyday items.
“Dude, that mop is coming at us so fast,” said one user. Another said, “Doug Marley.” A third user commented, “Seeing something like this at night is beautiful and scary at the same time.” The fourth user wrote, what a horror movie this is.
The video has been viewed nearly 17 million times but is not new. Earlier it was shared in the year 2021.
According to the American Kennel Club, it is a medium breed of herding dog. It is covered from head to tail in abundant, naturally occurring cords.
The website further states that the coat’s naturally made cords are woolly, dense and weatherproof.
Beneath this fearsome looking dog is a compact yet powerful dog, standing 16 to 17 inches tall at the shoulder. Pulics (plural form) are remarkably agile, earning a reputation as “the acrobats of the dog world”.
Some users on social media said that a dog’s coat can be black, white, gray or cream and that it protects it from harsh weather and predators.
