UPSSSC PET: Tomorrow is the last date to apply for UP PET, chance to amend till 6 September

Tomorrow 30th August is the last date to apply for UPSSSC PET 2023. GATE Pass of Main Examination for recruitment to Group C Posts in various Departments of UP Government will be available only through PET. Many candidates have complained that the website is running slow. In such a situation, candidates who have not yet applied should apply as soon as possible by visiting the UPSSSC website upsssc.gov.in. Changes in the application can be done till September 6. 37.58 lakh people applied for the 2022 exam. This time too bumper applications are coming.

PET-2022 score is valid till January 24, 2024. The PET 2022 marks will be valid for the advertisement issued by the commission for recruitment till this period. After this, those with PET-2023 will be considered eligible. This will also be valid for one year.

Educational Qualification – Its minimum educational qualification is fixed at 10 passes.

Age Limit- Candidates who have completed the minimum age of 18 years as on 01 July 2023 and not attained more than 40 years of age will be eligible for the Preliminary Qualifying Test 2023.

– There will be negative marking for each wrong question.
In this, knowledge of English will be required for recruitment to Group C posts.

Exam Pattern
The qualifying examination will be of 100 marks and of two hours duration. There is provision for negative marking. One quarter mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
– Mains Examination, Skill Test or Physical Test will be conducted for shortlisted candidates on the basis of PET score, as per the specific requirements of various departments and provisions of service rules.

PET is required for these posts
UP ANM Mandi Parishad Joint Cadre, Revenue Accountant Posts, Assistant Boring Technician, ITI Instructor, Joint Technical Service, Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard, Gram Panchayat Officer, X-ray Technician, Agricultural Assistant, Junior Assistant in Revenue Department, Accountant and Auditor, Sherd. For recruitment to the posts of surveyor etc. in the department one has to appear in PET first. PET is mandatory for recruitment to these posts.
