A video of a 17-year-old boy being beaten by a Congress leader’s son in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad area is going viral on social media. In Dhanbad, Ranveer Singh, son of Congress leader Ranvijay Singh, beat up a student because the boy would not bow down. The Congress leader’s son along with his friends and personal bodyguards beat the boy with kicks, punches and hockey sticks. After this, the boy was hit on the head with the butt of a pistol and injured.

When the Congress leader’s son was not satisfied, he forced him into a vehicle and abducted him. After this, the father of the student was called and threatened. The victim student’s father has registered a case against the Congress leader’s son and others at the police station.

The aggrieved student said that the Congress leader’s son killed him for not offering obeisance. The victim’s father said that Congress leader Ranvijay Singh’s son had beaten up his son. In which he is seriously injured. An FIR has been lodged against Ranveer Singh and three others at Sarkhadhela police station.

At the same time, Congress leader Ranvijay Singh on the matter said that nowhere in the video which has gone viral is it clear that he is his son. There is no authenticity to the video. The video should be forensically examined.
