Fans waiting for Bigg Boss 17 can wait longer this time. Usually Bigg Boss starts in the first week of October, but this time due to Cricket World Cup it can be postponed for almost a month. The pre-production assignments are in full swing ahead of the start of the shoot and the buzz around the names of some of the contestants is high. These names are expected to be finalized soon.
The Cricket World Cup is starting from October 5
The makers of Bigg Boss are worried about the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 competition. Bigg Boss starts in October and is telecast at 10 pm. The problem the makers of the show are facing is that the World Cup is starting from October 5 and all India’s matches in the league stage are from 2 pm which will go on till late night. In such a situation, the timing of India’s match and Bigg Boss will clash on the TV set. The makers are worried that this will have a negative impact on the show’s TRPs. “There is no official word on the timing of the show, but we have heard that the makers are planning to extend it,” said a source from Colors channel. He said that no one would want to miss an India match. So there doesn’t seem to be any reason for the viewership of the tournament to bump up.
India’s match and clash in Bigg Boss
This is not the only problem faced by the makers of Bigg Boss. Its host Salman Khan will start shooting for a new film with Vishnuvardhan in November. His new look is also for the same film in which he is playing the role of a paramilitary officer. Once the shooting of this film starts, Salman’s schedule will be booked for 7-8 months. India’s last match in the World Cup qualifying round is against the Netherlands on November 12. The problem in front of the show makers is that if Bigg Boss is postponed for a month and a half from the fixed schedule, there may be a problem with Salman over dates. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see what way the makers go about it.
Will Ankita Lokhande go to Bigg Boss, enter the house with her husband?
