New Delhi. Asia Cup 2023 has started. The first match of this prestigious tournament is being played between hosts Pakistan and Nepal at the Multan International Cricket Stadium. During the match, Pakistan’s opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq was shown the way to the pavilion by being run out on a direct throw by opposition captain Rohit Paudel. The way the 20-year-old Paudel showed the imam running to the pavilion left everyone present stunned for a moment.
Imam was done on Paudel’s direct throw:
Sompal Kami brought the seventh over of the innings for the Nepal cricket team. On the very first ball of his over, Imam tried to push the ball over mid-off for a single, but failed miserably. The situation was such that Rohit, fielding at mid-off, quickly picked up the ball and threw it straight towards the stumps. Meanwhile, the batons of the stumps completely disintegrated before Imam reached the crease. After which he had to go to the pavilion disappointed.
