Viacom has been successful in buying TV and digital media rights for 18 domestic cricket matches in India. An e-auction process was conducted by the BCCI, in which Viacom 19 won the TV and digital broadcast rights of domestic matches for the next five years, starting with the upcoming home ODI series against Australia.

Sports 18 Network will telecast Team India’s home matches on TV, while fans on mobile and laptops can watch India’s matches live on Jio Cinema. BCCI’s Sachin Jay Shah tweeted, “Congratulations to Viacom 18 for winning BCCI media rights for both TV and Digital for the next 5 years. Even after IPL and Women’s Premier League, Indian cricket will continue to grow in both areas. We also extend the BCCI media rights partnership.
