New Delhi. The first match of Asia Cup 2023 was played between Pakistan and Nepal on August 30 in Multan. During the match, once again Pakistani bowlers were seen dominating the opposing team. Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf are currently among the most dangerous pace trio in the world. The reason is that these three players are adept at economic bowling as well as wicket keeping. These three bowlers have contributed significantly to Pakistan’s recent victories.

In the first match of Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan defeated Nepal by 238 runs. The Pakistani pace trio was in superb form during the match. Afridi took two big wickets in the first over. Naseem Shah also achieved important early success. After this, Rauf’s magic was seen in the middle order. He also took two wickets.

During the match, when Afridi, Shah and Rauf were bowling, Nepal was playing the game, but the Indian fans were heartbroken when the wicket fell. The reason is obvious as India’s first match is against Pakistan and their pace trio was in great form before the match.

Performance of Afridi, Shah and Rauf:

Talking about the performance of these three bowlers, Afridi has played a total of 119 matches for Pakistan so far. During this time he has got 247 success in 137 innings. While Naseem has taken 92 wickets in 58 innings of 47 matches and Rauf has taken 130 wickets in 86 innings of 88 matches.
