Bihar STET: Candidates angry over malpractice in STET admit card, slogans and protests for hours

Candidates staged a protest outside the Bihar Board on Friday after both papers of the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) admit card were held in the same shift. During the protest which lasted for several hours, the candidates also blocked the road in front of the Inter Council. Slogans were raised for hours outside the Bihar Board premises near Sinha Library. During this time, candidates were constantly demanding corrections in the admit card.

Candidate Aftab Alam applied online for paper-1 and paper-2. When the admit card is received, the exam timings for Paper-1 and Paper-2 are same. This error is in the admit card of many candidates. other side Bihar Board Accordingly STET is to be conducted in two shifts. Paper-1 will be taken in the first shift and Paper-2 in the second shift. The first shift is scheduled from 10 am to 12.30 pm and the second from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

Candidates are showing great interest in giving full two and half hour mock test. According to the Bihar Board, more than 40 thousand candidates have given the mock test in two days. Along with the practice of conducting the online examination, information is also being provided about the style of the question paper. In the two-and-a-half-hour exam, the questions are to be answered on the computer only.

Corrections in the admit card up to date can correct these details
The Bihar School Examination Board has given an opportunity to the candidates to correct the mistakes in the admit card. Candidates can correct mistakes in their admit card in name of father and mother, date of birth, gender, category, disabled category, ex-service man category. Candidates will update by login using their user id and password.
