After the immense success of the film, Sunny Deol is talking openly about his professional and personal life. In a recent interview, Sunny opened up about her relationship with father Dharmendra and also revealed that she learned a lot from her grandmother. He also recounted a shocking incident involving his grandmother, which had a lasting impact on his life.
Sunny Deol mentioned an incident during a conversation on Ranveer Allahabadia’s podcast. He said that his father namely Dharmendra had misbehaved with his servant after which his grandmother took drastic measures to teach him a lesson. He said, “Grandma has a lot of influence on me. She was a very charitable woman.
Sunny Deol further said, “If something was wrong in the house, she would easily scold him. I remember, once my father got angry with a servant and abused him. Another heard this and became very angry with Papa. He called the servant and said, ‘You are also misbehaving with me.’ She was that kind of person.”
Sunny Deol learned from his grandmother
Sunny Deol said, “He never let any wrongdoing happen. Whether it is done by our own people or by someone else. These are people I grew up with. My grandfather, my grandmother, my mother. I always say that a child has his family and the environment he grew up in. Sunny also said that Dharmendra once slapped her in such a way that fingerprints were left on her cheek.

Sunny Deol said, “I was mischievous like other kids. One day, my father caught me and slapped me on the face. I had 3 fingerprints on my face. Later he was very remorseful, my grandmother and mother were very angry with him again.
