In a recent interview with ETimes, Shilpa Shetty spoke about the early days of her career. Meanwhile, she recalled how she was never considered in the list of top-10 actresses of her time.
Answering a question in conversation, he said, “I think there is always poetic justice in life. I was never in the top-10 list of actresses. I may have received a lot of love and appreciation, but never counted in the top-10 actresses list. I don’t know if it’s lack of opportunity or something else. Look at me today though! I am doing the biggest series, I have just finished shooting for a film. I am doing a multilingual film and I have no complaints today. We all have our own journey. I have made a name for myself on TV, my brand is doing well.”
Talking about Shilpa’s professional life, she was last seen in Sabbir Khan’s action-comedy Nikamma. Now in the coming days he will be seen in ‘Sukhi’ along with Amid Saad and Kusha Kapila among others. In the film, Shilpa will be seen playing the role of a Punjabi housewife who travels to Delhi to attend her school reunion with her friends after 2 decades.
