Delhi Police has arrested a 14-year-old minor in connection with the murder of a person in Jamia Nagar area. According to the police, the deceased was continuously sexually abusing the minor boy. Apart from this, he had made a video of Sagira in an objectionable condition and was forcing her to have a relationship by threatening to make the video viral on social media.

According to South East Delhi DCP Rajesh Dev, at around 2.15 am on August 30, the PCR received a call that blood was leaking from a room on the second floor of a house in Batla House in Jamia Nagar and the room was open. When police arrived at the scene, they found the blood-soaked body of a 28-year-old man whose throat had been slashed. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Waseem alias Altaf, a private tutor by profession and residing in another house. The house where the body was found belonged to Altaf’s family, which is now vacant. The deceased was living in Zakir Nagar with his family.
The police registered a case of murder and started investigation and after investigation the minor boy involved in the murder was identified. According to the police, the deceased had come in contact with the minor boy two months back and had been sexually abusing him since then.
The police said that the deceased had also made a video of the minor boy in an objectionable position and threatened to make the video viral on social media if he did not believe his words. On August 30 also, the deceased called the minor. The minor was upset by the sexual harassment, so he brought a paper cutter and cut Altaf’s throat. The police have arrested the minor.
