New Delhi. In the fifth match of Asia Cup 2023, the cricket teams of India and Nepal (India vs Nepal) are facing each other today. Through this match, experienced fast bowler Mohammad Shami has returned to the playing XI after a long time. Shami has been included in the squad in place of fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah returned to India from Sri Lanka for the birth of his first child a day before this match. India have won the toss and decided to bowl first.
33-year-old Mohammad Shami has returned to one-day international cricket after almost five and a quarter months. He played his last ODI on March 22 this year against Australia in Chennai.
