Ankara. An amazing sight was seen in the skies over Erzurum city and Gumusen province in eastern Turkey on Saturday night. A meteorite passed through the clouds here on Saturday night, leaving the sky glowing green. Many videos of this are appearing on social media. The streaks of meteors in the sky are looking spectacular.

In one such video shared on social media site X by a user named Nahel Belgarz, a child can be seen playing with a balloon. This video is getting a lot of likes. In this one can see the meteorite and its light. According to the US space agency NASA, meteorites or “space rocks” are objects ranging in size from dust particles to small asteroids in space.

A similar phenomenon was seen in Colorado last week when a huge fireball lit up the sky. The incident took place around 3:30 am and was witnessed by only a few people. However, some residents have now shared their experiences on social media. He took the help of mobile phones, security cameras and special cameras to record the incident.
