UPPSC: Candidature of 153 applicants canceled from PCS 2023 Mains, opportunity to appeal till September 12

UPPSC PCS 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has canceled the candidature of 153 candidates who qualified in the Combined State/Senior Subordinate Services (PCS) Preliminary Examination 2023. These candidates will not be able to appear in the main examination scheduled from 23rd September. However, the commission has given an opportunity to appeal by uploading the reason for cancellation of candidature along with the roll number on the website till 5 pm on 12th September. Affected candidates can submit their representation to the Commission by registered post or in person by the prescribed deadline.

According to Assistant Secretary Omkarnath Singh, the candidature of as many as 84 candidates who were declared successful in the preliminary examination only for the post of Technical Assistant (Geology) (Directorate of Geology and Mines), but did not fulfill the compulsory education, has been cancelled. Qualification of the above post. Don’t hold back. 37 candidates have canceled the application form for the main examination as they did not submit it to the commission office by the stipulated last date of 28th July. Based on online claim, candidature of 13 successful candidates for the posts of Deputy Registrar, Law Officer, Public Works Department-4 and Disability Empowerment Department-3 has been canceled due to non-submission of any record in support of mandatory qualification.

There are five candidates who were successful for Technical Assistant (Elements), Deputy Registrar and Law Officer but did not have the qualification. On the other hand, there are three candidates who did not attach any academic record with the main examination application form and their candidature was cancelled. In the preliminary examination result declared on June 26 for 254 posts of PCS, 4047 candidates were declared successful for the main examination. Out of 565459 who applied for PCS, 345022 candidates appeared in the preliminary examination held on May 14.
