Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted (X) Jaawan has been described as a mega blockbuster and has been rated four and a half. Taran wrote, “It is a hardcore masala entertainer that will be significant in Shahrukh Khan’s filmography.” Atla has portrayed Shah Rukh Khan as a public figure and he certainly is. Move on with Pathan, Jawan is coming to win both hearts and box office.
Qualities of a young man
Taran further writes, Jaawan has a great razor sharp screenplay, some events that grab attention, great action scenes, catchy frames, a fun soundtrack and the pace and energy of the film doesn’t let up. Although this is a clash of two warriors namely Vijay Sethupathi and Shah Rukh, this jawan is the driving force. Taran praised the acting of Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt. He wrote, “As it is being said that Jaawan is Shah Rukh’s film, there is no doubt that 2023 is Shah Rukh Khan’s year, let’s hear the roar at the box office.”

He has praised Shahrukh’s performance, Atlee’s story, plot and storytelling. Along with this, Vijay Sethupathi has also been described as a strong villain. He wrote that Atlee has written a great mass appeal film that is emotional and inspiring. There are 7 looks of Shah Rukh in the film, which wins everyone’s heart. He has become a messiah fighting for justice. Sumit has called Jawan Shah Rukh’s biggest film to please the public.
