Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana 2023: One lakh 33 thousand girls who passed the graduation examination between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2023 are still waiting for the incentive amount. Under Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana, these girls are to get an incentive amount of 50 thousand rupees each. In this order, the Education Department has given an opportunity to apply for the incentive amount under this scheme. The last date to apply online is 30 September. Till now 1 lakh 37 thousand girls have been paid 50-50 rupees under this scheme. Officials say that a total of Rs 120 crore has been paid into the bank accounts of 24 thousand girls recently. After September 30, the process of paying the amount will start again. The department pays the amount after verification of the online application by the concerned university administration.
It is known that under this scheme, the students who passed graduation earlier were given an amount of 25-25 thousand rupees. From April 1, 2021, the state government has decided to give Rs 50,000 instead of Rs 25,000 to female students graduating from colleges in Bihar. The target is to pay Rs 50,000 each to two lakh 70 thousand female students. So far, about two lakh 27 thousand girls have been paid Rs 25,000.
