After ‘Gadar 2’, now Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’ has created a buzz in the theatres. The film took a strong opening. Shah Rukh broke the opening day record of his own film ‘Pathan’. This movie is popular not only in India but all over the world. The film, which released on Thursday, also benefited from the Janmashtami holiday. The film’s collection on Friday has slightly declined compared to the first day. The main reason for this is the days of the week. It is expected to develop into a storm as the weekend approaches. At this moment, the preliminary figures for the next day are in and let’s take a look at them.
Could not break the record of ‘Pathan’
‘Jawaan’ Hindi has taken the biggest opening ever. This film has earned 65 crores. Jawan’s collection across all languages was 74.5 crores. According to the website Sacnilk, the film did a business of 50.50 crores on the second day. Thus the total collection of the film has become 125 crores in 2 days. Compared to ‘Pathan’, the film earned 57 crores at the domestic box office on the first day and collected 70.50 crores on the second day. ‘Pathan’ collected a total of Rs 127.50 crore in two days. It may be noted here that ‘Pathan’ was released on January 25 and benefited from the Republic Day holiday the next day.
Will create a record over the weekend
The second day collection of ‘Jawaan’ has seen a slight dip due to the weekend, but it will set a different record in the weekend. Jawan Hindi’s occupancy on Friday was 33.11 percent. The film’s occupancy in Delhi-NCR was 44.33 percent. Kolkata saw 44.67 percent occupancy and Mumbai 29 percent occupancy. Chennai surprised the most where the occupancy was the highest at 58.33 percent.
