Defending champions Sri Lanka, on the other hand, are keen to make a triumphant move into the Super Four. Tomorrow’s match is likely to be a fierce battle between the bat and the ball.

The option of having a reserve day for the India vs Pakistan Super Four match on 10th September has been chosen. Earlier, the option of reserve was kept only for the final, but now a reserve day has been kept for the India-Pakistan match as well. However, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has not yet made any public announcement regarding this change. However, no ‘reserve’ day is kept for other matches of the tournament. All the matches in the ‘Super Four’ phase are scheduled to be held in Colombo and rain is predicted in the city for the next few days.
