Mumbai. On the 71st birth anniversary of late Hindi cinema star Rishi Kapoor, the Kapoor family got emotional and paid tribute to him. Kapoor Khan’s new daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt also remembered her father-in-law and husband Ranbir Kapoor’s late father. These days she is vacationing in America with her husband and daughter Raha. During vacation, he wrote a message remembering Rishi Kapoor. He shared a picture on his Instagram story. This picture was taken during their wedding.
In this picture, it can be seen that Ranbir Kapoor is dancing happily while holding a picture of late Rishi Kapoor. While sharing this picture with a white heart, she wrote, “Always with us… always…” Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married in April last year. Six months later, in November, Alia gave birth to daughter Raha.
Apart from Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor also remembered late Rishi Kapoor on his birth anniversary. He shared a video on his social media account, in which a glimpse of some of Rishi Kapoor’s films was seen. She wrote in her caption, “In memory of her..” Daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni commented on Neetu’s post with heart emojis.
Kareena Kapoor Khan also remembered her uncle Rishi Kapoor. Sharing his photo on his Insta story, he wrote, “Happy Birthday Chintu Uncle. You are always in our hearts! I miss you. Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor shared a video in which she was seen playing the iconic tune from ‘Karaj’.
Let us tell you that Rishi Kapoor passed away last year in April 2020. He was suffering from leukemia for a long time. He was undergoing treatment in an American hospital. He returned to India after treatment. He breathed his last in a hospital in Mumbai. His last film was ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’. The film was released after his death.
