Read on the application
Public sector Bank of Baroda (BoB) has launched video re-KYC service. This will give customers the option of completing KYC related operations without even visiting their bank branch. Video KYC facility can be used only by individual account holders of the bank who are Indian citizens above 18 years of age and have Aadhaar number and PAN card.
What is its method: In the first step, customers have to visit the Bank of Baroda website and apply for KYC. After submitting the online application, the bank employee will complete the KYC process by making a video call. Meanwhile, the customer has to carry the PAN card, a white paper and a blue or black colored pen with him.
The bank said that the KYC call will be made on any working day from 10 am to 6 pm. As soon as the video call is over, the customer’s details will be updated in the bank’s records. The customer will also be informed about this by sending a message. Let it be known that Bank of Baroda started video KYC facility for digital saving accounts in the year 2021. Now it has been extended to its traditional customers as well.
