The first match between India and Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023 was canceled due to rain and now the two teams will meet again for the second time on 10th September. Asia Cup 2023 Super-4 is going to be played between India and Pakistan, if Pakistan wins here it will make their way to reach the final much easier. On the other hand, India will enter here with the intention of making Pakistan’s path difficult. India and Pakistan were drawn together in Group-A in Asia Cup 2023. In the group stage, both Pakistan’s pace attacks played bands of the Indian batting top order, but Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan combined to bring Team India back into the match. India were bowled out for 266 in 48.5 overs, but Pakistan’s innings failed to deliver a single ball and the match was abandoned due to rain. In the Super-4 match played on September 6, Pakistan registered a strong win against Bangladesh by seven wickets and Haris Rauf was the hero of the victory. Rauf roared ahead of the match against India and said he has his eye on the Man of the Series award.

Haris said after the match against Bangladesh, ‘It is very hot here (Lahore), I have played a lot of cricket here, I play for Lahore in the Pakistan Super League. The crowd always expects us to perform well here. Before any match we plan as a bowling unit. We make different plans for different phases of the game and bowl accordingly. Here it becomes difficult to play hard lengths and the plan was to keep the bowling wicket to wicket. There was no need to go for a yorker in this match.
