A big news is coming for the fans before the match between India and Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023 Super-4. In view of the heavy rainy season in Colombo, the Asian Cricket Council i.e. ACC has decided to reserve a day for this big match to be held on September 10. According to Cricket Pakistan news, if India-Pakistan match is not completed on 10th then this match will be completed on 11th September. Due to this, Team India will have to play two matches back to back. As per the scheduled schedule, India is scheduled to play Bangladesh on September 12. The match between India and Pakistan in the Super-4 will be the only match for which a reserve day has been held, apart from this, any other match will be called off if it is affected by rain. Apart from the match between India and Pakistan, there will be only one reserve day for the Asia Cup 2023 final.

When India and Pakistan first met in the group stage of the Asia Cup 2023, that match was also washed out due to rain. In this match played in Pallekale, Team India scored 266 runs while batting first, then due to heavy rain, Pakistan did not get a chance to bat even an over.

Jasprit Bumrah and KL Rahul will return
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah returned home for the birth of his first child after playing his first match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. Due to which he had to miss the match against Nepal. But the good news now is that Bumrah has returned to Sri Lanka for the Super-4 and will be available for all the matches including Pakistan. Apart from this, Indian wicket keeper batsman KL Rahul has also joined the team after passing the fitness test. He will also be available for selection for the match against Pakistan.
