India and Pakistan will meet for the second time in the Asia Cup

The opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill chased down a revised target of 145 runs without the loss of a wicket with 17 balls to spare in a rain-interrupted match in Kandy. Both the Indian openers scored half-centuries. The last group-stage match in the Asia Cup will be played on Tuesday and the Super-4 round will begin on Wednesday. Team India and Pakistan have reached Super-4. The remaining two teams will be decided by the match between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
Earlier, the Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan on September 2 could not be completed due to rain and had to be cancelled. The hope of fans of both the countries to watch exciting cricket was disappointed. Now there is good news for the fans. India and Pakistan will meet on September 10 in the Super-4 round of the Asia Cup. The first match between the two countries was played in Kandy, which could not be completed due to rain. In Pakistan’s innings, only the Indian team could bat and could not bowl a single ball.
Now the two teams will face each other in the Super-4 round on September 10. The venue of this match is Colombo but heavy rains have created flood-like conditions. In such a situation this match may be shifted to Hambantota. Not only this match, 4 more matches of the Super-4 round scheduled to be held in Colombo may also be shifted to Hambantota. Located in the southern part of Sri Lanka, this city receives less rainfall in the month of September.
When will India meet in Super-4?
Super-4 round matches in Asia Cup 2023 will start from September 6. The first match will be played between Group-A’s first-placed Pakistan and Group-B’s second-placed team. After this, the second match of the Super-4 round will be played between the top two teams of Group-B on 9th September. On September 10, the two teams of Group A, India and Pakistan, will meet.
Team India will return to the field on September 12. This time India will face the top team of Group B in the Super-4 match. On September 14, Pakistan will face Group B’s top team in the Super-4. Meanwhile, India will face the second-placed team in Group B on September 15. The final of the Asia Cup will be played on September 17 between the top-2 teams of the Super-4 round.
