New Delhi. Virat Kohli has proved many times why he is counted among the fittest cricketers in the world. As the captain of the Indian team, Kohli laid utmost emphasis on fitness and then the yo-yo test was necessary for selection in the team. Due to this reason, the fitness level of the Indian team has also increased in the last several years. Team India will enter the Asia Cup after a week. Earlier, the team’s fitness camp has been organized in Bangalore. Maximum emphasis will be laid on the fitness of the players during this camp. BCCI also prepared a special program of 13 days for this.

Even Virat Kohli has to go through this fitness program. Virat Kohli has passed the yo-yo test on the first day of the camp. Kohli informed Guruva about this by sharing a picture of himself. Kohli revealed on his Instagram story how much he scored in the Yo-Yo Test. Virat has scored a total of 17.2 runs. Kohli wrote, “Delighted to end the Yo-Yo Test amidst the dreaded cone. 17.2 Dun.”

The yo-yo test measures a player’s ability to sustain athletic ability over a long period of time. During this test, the player has to run between cones placed at different distances within a specified time and gradually the distance between the cones decreases. Along with this, the player’s physical strength and agility are tested.
