Tamil actor Suriya is in the limelight for his upcoming film ‘Kanguva’ which people are eagerly waiting for. The shooting of the film was going on in full swing and recently a tragic incident took place on its sets. It is being said that lead actor Surya got injured during the shooting of the film. According to news agency ANI, during the shooting of a fight scene for ‘Kanguwa’, he lost control of the camera and then fell on the actor, injuring Suriya.
Surya injured in firing
According to media reports, the camera hit Surya’s shoulder and the actor was injured. The actor also shared a post on X and updated fans about his health. The actor will be seen in a different avatar in Kangua and fans are excited to see his new look, but in the meantime there has been news of his injury. According to ANI, although the actor sustained minor injuries when the camera fell, the shooting of the film has been canceled for the time being. Because currently the actor has been given some time to rest and recuperate.
Surya gave a health update
The actor shared a post on X and informed fans about his condition. He wrote, ‘Dear friends, well wishers and my #myfans, thank you so much for the ‘Get well soon’ messages… feeling so much better… always grateful for all your love.’ According to sources, the incident took place at EVP Film City around 1.30 am. The shooting has been put on hold and the Nasratpet police are investigating the situation. The film is being made on a grand scale at a cost of 300 crores.
When will Kangua be released?
‘Kanguva’ is an all-India film, which will be released in 10 languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, English and Hindi apart from Tamil. The film also stars Disha Patni as the lead actress. The film is directed by Siruthai Shiva. It will also be released in 3D. However, the makers have not announced the release date of Kanguwa. In the teaser, the makers stated that it will release early next year (2024). At the same time, Sechnilk has claimed that the film starring Surya and Disha Patani will release on 12 April 2024. Let us tell you that there has been a stir among the fans regarding the actor who is playing the villain in Kangua. According to a report in a Telugu news portal, Bollywood actor Bobby Deol will be seen playing the villain in the film. Bobby’s presence in the film will help it make it across India.
Suriya was last seen in ‘Itharakkam Thunindhavan’ directed by Pandiraj. Although the film did good business at the ticket counter, it did not earn as much as Suraiya’s fans expected. Surya will next be seen in ‘Surya 43’ along with Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Verma and Nazriya Fahad.
