Indian cricket team’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has returned to India due to personal reasons. However, the good news for the fans is that he might join the team for the Asia Cup Super-4 stage. Mohammed Shami will play in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah. India’s next match in Asia Cup 2023 is against Nepal, which will be played on Monday.
According to media reports, Jasprit Bumrah is fully fit but will not be available for selection against Nepal on Monday (September 4) due to personal reasons. However, according to reports, he will make a comeback in India’s Super-4 phase matches.
“They (India) will be without Jasprit Bumrah, who has returned home for personal reasons only for one match,” said a report published by ESPN Cricinfo on Sunday. However, Bumrah is fully fit and will feature if India enter the Super-Four stage.

The match played between India and Pakistan on Saturday was canceled due to rain. Jasprit Bumrah did not get a chance to bowl in this match but he showed his batting skills. Jasprit Bumrah returned as captain to the Indian team during the tour of Ireland last month. He was sidelined for nearly 11 months due to a lower back injury (stress fracture) in the series against Australia last year. He was in very good form in this series.
